Chemicals: Care Program

This program is based on the average 7 foot hot tub holding 1400 liters and having average levels of use. Additional Bromine or Chlorine, Shock and Spa Perfect may be necessary for heavy users. If you have any questions or problems please contact Moose Mountain Hot Tubs or e-mail us. Note: Use either Bromine or Chlorine, never combine both.

Start-up

Bromine or Chlorine (not both)4 - 6 tabs
or 15g granule Chlorine
Spa Secure 40 ml
Shock non-chlorine 30 g (if using Bromine)

Daily

Bromine tabs - test - if req'd or
Chlorine tabs - test - if req'd or
Chlorine granules - if req'd

Weekly (Sunday)

Bromine or chlorine 4 - 6 tabs * (amounts may vary based on usage)
Shock non-chlorine 20 g * (amounts may vary based on usage) Bromine Only
Granular chlorine 15-30 grams per usage. Note: If using granular chlorine shock on Sunday with 30 grams (Let hottub vent 2 hours)

Weekly (Tuesday)

Spa Secure - 20 ml
Spa Perfect - 120 ml or Enzoil 2 tbls
