Manufacturing: Electric Heater
All Moose Mountain Hot Tubs use top of the line 825 Incaloy (an impregnable protective wrap) 5.5kw electric heater elements. The Ni-Chrome wire (that heats up to 600ºf ) is inside the 825 Incaloy wrap, thus making no contact with the water. We have been using this element for over 9 years with minimum failures. That is why we back the 825 Incaloy element with a Never-Fail 5 year warranty.
All hot tubs equipped with an electric heater use the same type of Ni-Chrome wire (as the core of the heater element). Some hot tub companies are trying to make it sound like they have something totally different but they have the same basic element in just different shrouds or cases
Over rigorous testing of the various forms of elements, the 825 Incaloy was found to be the simplest and most robust.
At Moose Mountain we believe simple (proven by field testing) heater elements are the best. We will never let our customers be test subjects for unproven, untested (less than 5 years in the field) heater elements. Instead, we concentrate on building simple problem free hot tubs.
