Tubs: Prepare for Delivery
Hot Tub Delivery Times:
Monday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hot Tub Delivery Procedure
The ownership of the new hot tub changes from Moose Mountain Hot Tubs to the customer once the tub enters the customer’s property. Payment in full of the hot tub via MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Cash or Debit, is required one day before delivery. Certified bank drafts and personal cheques are required at least 5 days prior to delivery. *This does not apply to special sale priced hottubs which is due in full at time of order.
What The Customer Must Do:
- Hire a certified Master Electrician with a city license to do the electrical installation and draw the city permit. Moose Mountain can arrange for a master electrician if required.
- Provide access for the hot tub and dolly system. The dolly has the ability to put the hot tub on its side and go through a 44” opening with a 9’ overhead clearance. If these conditions cannot be attained, a cherry picker can be arranged at an additional cost to the customer.
- Provide a level pad for the hot tub. (we recommend ¾” crushed gravel)
- Provide a minimum of 3 capable adults. (Heavy lifting possibly involved). If the customer requires assistance, a delivery crew can be provided for an additional fee of $250 + GST.
What Moose Mountain Will Do:
- Supply the hot tub on the dolly with one delivery technician to assist the customer in bringing their hot tub into their yard and placing it on the pad.
- Fill the hot tub with water (provided the electrical hook-up has been completed)
- Provide the customer with a complete on-site orientation of their new hot tub. (provided the electrical hook-up has been completed)
4. Orientations are available in store also
*NOTE* MOOSE MOUNTAIN HOT TUBS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR INJURIES WHILE ASSISTING IN THE DELIVERY PROCESS.
What The Certified Master Electrician Must Do:
- Draw any electrical Permits required under city bylaws.
- Do all electrical work to current electrical code prior to delivery date or after your new hottub has been delivered. Install a 50-AMP GFCI Breaker and run appropriate wire size (Neutral, L1, L2 & Ground) out to tub leaving approximately 10 extra feet for proper installation. (please consult your electrician)
- Do final electrical hook-up and make final arrangements for the City Electrical Inspector.
